Freezin in Brisbane

Hi Boys & Girls

I'm still in Brisbane and will be leaving tonight. Hmm what can I tell you about my trip? Well, I had such a lovely time visiting the Koala Bears and I gotta tell you I have made so many new friends and they have been so nice and suportive throughout my entire trip.

I cant post you any pictures now because I didnt bring my camera ere. The weather ere is kinda cold and thank God for the glorious SUN! Nyways I gotta go now.

Need to get somemore things before I head to Singapore where I will meet my super sexy fiance. Did I tell you that he suprised me in Singapore on the 21st of this month. He told me he couldnt come down this time and I was soo shocked and excited when I saw him at the hotel lobby! I think I hugged him for a good 5 minutes when we got to the room...

I know I'm overboard but I love him sooooooooo much-sometimes I feel so corny. But thats okie. I'm a very happy woman in LOVE!

Out of town (Dubai-I mean)

I will be going on one of those long loooong trips out of Dubai. I am not complaining as I will finally go and visit the Koala Bears, take some pictures and I might even take a train and go to the Gold Coast (with or without anyone) I'll be staying at Singapore for a night, then in Brisbane for 5 days and finally another day in Singapore on the way back. Yay all these days will pass by very quickly and I've noticed that everyday I seem to get louder and louder when I talk to myself in the mirror when I remind myself about my engagement! hahaha. My best friend Joyce is also very very exited about the whole thing too - I mean who wouldn't be? Nyways, I'll be updating my blog tomorrow (Cos I wanna see what the verdict is on my shoes poll) from Singapore so till I see you then, God Bless.

Ok girls I need your help Allysa or Anastacia? I'm going to Brisbane soon and if you help me chose it'll save me the hassle of ordering online and waiting for the package to come... I changed my mind la. The Jimmy Choo's are quite normal and it looks like any other sandal that you can get anywhere. (Plus it didn't come in my size and I did try to look for it but failed) I have narrowed it down to these two shoes and I've kinda already made a decision but I just want your opinion...

Proud to be a Kadazan!

For those people who do not know what Kadazan is, its actually one of the many ethnic tribes found in Sabah, East Malaysia. Please click here for more info. I wanted to write about it but its sooo long so I decided to do it the easy way. Although my hubby isn't Kadazan, he certainly knows more about my tribe than I do! Actually he knows so much about so many things and I am so lucky to have him...

A woman can never have too many shoes

I read somewhere that every bride should have a back up pair of shoes just in case anything happens i.e the heel breaks/shoe gets dirty/someone steals it etc. So this ladies and gents is my plan B...yay and its cheaper than the Jimmy Choo's I had my eyes on.

Show Shoe Time

Yay I found the picture of the shoes that I wanted...! Unfortunately the one here isn't the colour that I saw and I know that these babies look simple and not so great, but I fell in love with them the moment I saw them! They have the perfect height, the perfect style (not too tacky/flashy) the perfect colour and I tried size 38 of Jimmy Choo's shoes and they are sooooo comfortable. The colour that I saw that was on sale was Ivory...

I Have A Headache

Hello People Who Read My Blog

Today I seem to have a massive headache and its for a good reason:

Planning my Engagement!

Thanks to the help of my best friend Joyce (who btw has already had her engagement a few weeks ago) I have managed to cross out a list of things that I needed to do for the big day.

My sister Collyn has also been helping me and I gotta tell you, I need all the help I can get as I am not in KK and it makes it even harder to get things done from afar. I mean, people can help you only so much but to get things done, you have to physically be there.

I am really thrilled and grateful to my future mother-in-law who has graciously gave way to me (& my tradition) and has decided that we do the engagement the real Kadazan way. My future sister-in-law has also been so supportive and really nice about the entire ceremony. I think I couldn't ask for more!

My future Hubby is really patient with my tantrums & meltdowns.I mean this is the 2nd most important day of my life (1st is my wedding day) and of course I wan't it to be beautiful and I want everything where its supposed to be. I have a lot of requests and I really love him for being nice to me and hearing me out. Bagus oh him. Today I had a meltdown and all he said was - "Darling, it's ok, just leave everything to me"

Do you know how happy that made me feel... And I'm complaining about it to you here - WHY?

Ok bottom line is I am extremely happy, so exited and nervous! I have to go and finalise my list and make sure that I won't forget a single thing.

Jimmy Choo!

I found the perfect pair of shoes - (oh relax ka, 70% off summer sales) while I was window shopping yesterday with my friends and as always - THEY RAN OUT OF MY SIZE!!!!!!!!! They were these cute perfect little Jimmy Choo sandals and I was extremely disappointed when the salesman told me that they didn't have most of the shoes in my size because it was the last 5 days of Dubai Summer Suprize Sale and most of it were sold out even on the first 3 days... Where was I then?! oh ya. I was in KL la that time ISHK!! Oh well it looks like I have to go scout around for another pair...*sob* *sob* *sob* not meant to be I think

Perfect Dress

I found the perfect dress for my registration on the 9th of December 2006. The only thing stopping me from getting it is...well nothing really. I just need to go and try it and I will when I go to Brisbane on the 22nd of this month. I'm so worried that it won't look nice on me coz you know how it is-it may look nice on someone else (in other words those skinny models in the magazines) and when you try it, you just don't feel like a million buckaroos..I'll try and post it when I can find a picture of it okie

Oh I just came back from Nairobi (again) I had fun there - watched the oh-my-gosh-almost-fell-asleep match of France Vs Italy.Thank God (& my Darling for my Gameboy!) That kept me awake on the 2nd half and the 30 mins extra time.Oh and just for the record I still love Zidane even if he decided to do what he did - that Italian guy must've said something to provoke him...I am sure. Other wise he wouldn't have reacted that way. :-(

I'm so glad the world cup fever is over because now I can focus on my wedding fever! Yay

I managed to swap my Manchester flight with another colleague of mine for a three day KL trip. How lucky am I to spend the weekend with my darling and friends! My fiance is kind and very generous because he invited all the crew operating on my flight for dinner and drinks and everyone ended up having a great time. We also watched the match between England and Portugal. Of couse by the additional time I couldn't be bothered already. I think I remember seeing David Beckham cry then everything after that is a blur because then my brother & his girlfriend came, then my cousin and his friends came, then all my old friends came too - Julian Chu, Ceaserina & her Hubby Derek - who BTW is great!

Thats the after picture of our living room and it's a little bit messy because I didn't have the time to clean it. Notice that the colour has changed and it looks totally different in the morning and totally different at night.

What a concidence meeting my friend and orang KK Gail on the plane. She was going home to KK for two weeks and thats her daughter. She is also pregnant with a baby boy.. It was so nice to see her again after like 10 years...
