Stuck In A Rut!
How do you decide whether you are happier where you are or happier where you want to be? OK OK I think for the first time I think I am losing perspective of why I am here. I want to do so many things and be many things and I think I am just too afraid I might make a mistake. Maybe I just miss my VJ. And home. Let me tell you all, the grass is always greener on the other side. Its no picnic here, really. I mean sure I get to go places and all that. But really, I am getting exhausted and think that I need to do a 9-5 job.
I think I need a tight slap to wake me up.
By the way all that aside:
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOYCE!

This E-mail is for all my 1996 friends of St Francis Convent

Hi Lynn, (HERRO LILY!!)
I hope this email find you in good health and great year of 2006!!!!! It is the time of the year!!!!!!. 2006 is the year, whereby student of batch '96 can earmarked the moment whereby it has been a decade of life after school. The time has come for us to meet up and catch up with the long lost and old and new friends as well as getting to know the old and new self. Of course, we can also said is the time to catch up with who's who and what's what and how has it been. Is never to late to right the wrongs and to forgive as well as forget. Therefore, i take this opportunity to include u in the planning as well as organizing the BIG event of the year for us.
Nothing much truly, u don't have to swim across ocean, or walk through fire, but I need your help in passing the news about the event, as well as the phone numbers and email address of any friends of '96 that you have been keeping in contact with to me, through email is fine. So that we can keep them in the loop, and hopefully they can make it for the reunion. It's still in the early stage, nothing much has been confirm yet, we are only starting the looking and searching of all the students in our yearbook of '96 including the MIA.
Hopefully, we can nail down the date and inform any of u guys in KL, so that u guys can book cheaper flight, and take leave from work. Again, we hope u can make it. At the moment, i am drafting and recruiting representative, from the classes to keep everyone in touch about this news as well as taking down contact no. and email address, so we can keep u guys in progress of our development. The reunion could most probably be October, or even December, again, we are still taking down all contacts first, before making the next step. Thanks again, and keep in touch!!!!.

The Day Poochie Showed Her Tantrums To Us!
On the 9th of January 2006, I went back to Kuala Lumpur on a rostered flight and as usual, I always go home instead of staying at the hotel...When I was about to leave the bell boy asked why I didnt stay at the hotel, and I told him that the hotel didnt have my cat or my man..hehe.
So anyway,I went to Karma had a nice time there with VJ and my friends and we had supper at Petaling Street (Syuyuk & Chicken Rice/Yong Tau Foo-hmmmmm sedaaapnya) . Then we went home and as usual we were greeted with a loud meaow by this kitty cat. I carried her, fed her and brought her into the room so that she could sleep with us. Usually she would try to get our attention by either sneezing, or pulling the tissue out of the box or standing right in front of our faces...So cute.. This trip she decided to sneeze and look like an orphan - minta kesian. (All for food!) So I got up, opened the door, fed her and went back to sleep.
After watching a movie, VJ decided to go out and buy some groceries to cook mee goreng for me. Normally when he cooks I will keep him company in the kitchen & play with poochie (my cat) at the same time.
This time, after disturbing & playing around with her, she went to a cooler box made out of styrafoam and started scratching it to let her anger out. I told her off but she still didnt listen to me, so VJ pulled her tail to distract her from scratching further, and you know what she did? She vented her anger by bitting off a piece of the cooler box while complaining & did it three times! You should've seen her...so funny! She made so much off mess I had to bring her out to dust her...
If you think that she'd stop being cute, after having our meal she was grooming herself on the bed next to a book, and I started playing with her I think she got was happy with all the company and wanted to make me happy so she started biting the edge of my book!!! She didnt stop biting it oh.So cute..awww talking about her makes me miss her. Well I will see her soon...5 more days!

History Lesson
Have a history teacher explain this----- if they can.
A.Lincoln & J.F Kennedy
Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846.
John F. Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946.
Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860.
John F. Kennedy was elected President in 1960.
Both were particularly concerned with civil rights.
Both wives lost their children while living in the White House.
Both Presidents were shot on a Friday.
Both Presidents were shot in the head.
Now it gets really weird...
Lincoln 's secretary was named Kennedy.
Kennedy's Secretary was named Lincoln.
Both were assassinated by Southerners.
Both were succeeded by Southerners named Johnson.
Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln, was born in 1808.
Lyndon Johnson, who succeeded Kennedy, was born in 1908.
John Wilkes Booth, who assassinated Lincoln, was born in 1839.
Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated Kennedy, was born in 1939.
Both assassins were known by their three names.
Both names are composed of fifteen letters.
Now hang on to your seat.
Lincoln was shot at the theater named 'Ford.'
Kennedy was shot in a car called ' Lincoln' made by 'Ford.'
Lincoln was shot in a theater and his assassin ran and hid in a warehouse.
Kennedy was shot from a warehouse and his assassin ran and hid in a theater.
Booth and Oswald were assassinated before their trials.
And here's the kicker...
A week before Lincoln was shot, he was in Monroe, Maryland
A week before Kennedy was shot, he was with Marilyn Monroe.
Creepy huh?
Creepy huh?

Found Gold In The Sand!
Behind me I is the beautiful dessert of Dubai after a nerve wrecking safari ride...Picture taken by my darling and you cant see it but I'm not wearing any shoes, and the sand was cold and felt amazing... the dessert ride lasted within 1-1 hour & 30 mins and in between (when the picture was taken) we stopped at the highest peak of the sand and took pictures of the sunset... at that time it was 17 degrees and after the dessert ride you'll be taken to an area where you could get camel rides, smoke shisha's, eat middle eastern dessert, have some arabic tea and even dress up with the traditional abaya & dish dash...
so after indulging in all of that, a barbacue is prepared and everyone just enjoys the evening eating middle eastern appetizers and food...
the highlight is the belly dancer...hehe after she show's off her belly-dancing skills, she'll then invite a member of the audience to dance and you should have seen how fast Vijay jumped behind me for protection! So cute!
After all of that you will sent home. I surely had fun (even though I've been on the ride twice!)

Called Home
Today's post is dedicated to my grand-uncle Papa Diony. My grandmother's brother (The Late Mr Dionysius Joeman) passed away in the early hours of the morning. And his last words to his wife was "Let's go home..."I didnt really know him as much as I wouldve liked to, but I knew that one thing is for sure, he always remembered me no matter how long I hadn't seen him,and pinched my cheeks so hard sampai merah...
Goodbye Papa
Remembering 2005
These are the pictures that will forever be in my head...I'm only going to take the good things in 2005 and leave the rest where it belongs:THE PAST. This picture was taken in February after a wild dessert safari ride...
This is in KK after Tom's full moon party and this picture of me alone is taken in Jakarta by VJ using his Sony s750i handphone..(not bad for a phone picture quality huh..?)
